How can I customize my widget?

There are a variety of customization options available to help you change the look and feel of a campaign widget. To customize a campaign widget, you need to navigate to the Campaign Overview and click the “Publishing Settings” tab.

The following details the current customization options.

Look and Feel

  • Campaign Color: Hex color
  • Size: 160px wide or 300px wide (height varies based on description text)
  • Border: y/n
  • Background: Hex color
  • Font Style: Serif or Sans-Serif
  • Font Size: Small (10px), Normal (12px), Large (14px)
  • Body Font Color: Hex color
  • Header Font Color: Hex color

Features

  • Show/hide campaign fundraising target
  • Show/hid campaign current amount raised
  • Upload a campaign image that will display on the widget through the campaign edit form.
  • Add a YouTube video that will be included on your donation landing page and is promoted by a play icon overlay on top of your campaign image on your campaign widget.

Key Terms

Fonts: Serif or Sans-Serif

Serif refers to a stroke added to the end of certain letter characters. Times or Times New Roman are examples of common serif fonts.

Sans-Serif do not have the extra stroke of serif fonts. Arial or Helvetica are examples of common sans-serif fonts.

Hex Color

HTML colors are most commonly defined using hexadecimal notation. Hex values are written as a combination of 3 double digit numbers, starting with a # sign. For example #ffffff represents white and #000000 black. All the fonts, border, and accent colors of the campaign widget are defined by entering an accurate and desirable hex color.
